-He could be heard before he entered the room, his steel trimmed combat boots clanging on the cold stone floors. He could have moved silently, but he was at ease here, his heart beat slow, slow, slower than a regular person's. He would take out a smoke as he got to the old door, the wood so old and dry he was occasionally afraid to touch it. He would gently push it open, and sowly approach the fire place, bending down to light a fire that would warm the room.-

Suddenly as fireplace was lit, a humanoid figure would appear behind him, holding a mug filled with a warm, black and brown liquid of which he would take a sip from before speaking. "You really get cold that easily?" he would ask, taking another quick sip from the mug

a bright orange hair'd neko, walked into the room nervously, unsure what to say or do really, lost... and not sure where she was supposed to be. "um.. hello?" she spoke nervously her hands daintilly foldedbehinfd her back. "i-is this where the dorms can be found? o-or eh I mena wh-what room is this?" she smiled nervously

A girl stopped a bit away from the doorway as she heard the neko ask for directions, drat she had been nonchalantly following her because as a freshman she had no idea where she was going and had thought the neko had an idea. This is why she should have payed attention to orientation now she had no clue where anything was. Well no harm done she could just listen in.

-Turning around, a half smile on his face, he would greet his friend.-
"No I dont get cold easily, I just dont like ice on the window over my usual napping spot"
-He would nod towards a stone bench in the corner, the window above coated in ice.
Then the Neko would come in, obviously a new student due to the nervous tones in her voice as she aske where she was. He could feel another presance a little farther out in the hallway, porbubly another new student. He would take a draw from his smoke, letting Axel answer her question.-

Nathan looked at the window for a moment. "Huh..." he said. "well I'm just gonna blame the elementals for that" he added, taking another sip of his beverage before looking back at the student in the doorway, asking generic first year questions.
"You're going the wrong way if you're looking for droms they're in the direction you came eventually you'll come to a split with two large buildings, left for girls right for boys. That's assuming you're not going to the disciplinary dorms" he explained in a bland with one breathe, taking another sip from his drink. "Now as for this room it's pretty much a lounge, and where I get my drinks" he answered

the Neko nodded nervously "th-thank y-you" she spoke "no j-just the girls dorms" she smiled and turned around quickly walking out when she noticed a girl evesdropping outside. "h-hello" she spoke walking toward her

"urk" the girl said freezing in midstep, she had heard all she needed to and was trying to sneak off without being noticed, but now decided to roll with the punches as she turned around "hello?" she responded calmly trying not to look particularly like she had been listening in or anything.

-Rahgio would roll his eyes, not very fond of new students in general. He would take one last drag on his smoke, then flick it into a pot, with countless other used ciggaretes. He wouldmake his way over to his stone bench, not looking foreward to the sparring match in class later. Reaching under his bench he would pull out a bottle that upon his opening it would fill the room with the scent of alchohal. Taking a swig he would shake his head, trying to wake himself up.-
"Want some?"
-He would offer the bottle to Nathan.-

Nathan would shake his head, taking a drink from his own beverage. "For the same reason I don't join you in smoking, I don't want to join you in drinking poison either" he replied. Short living races have it easy he thought, they can smoke and drink and do almost anything they want and the lifetime effects hardly last, but with him and his life compared to say a human's, the annoying drawbacks wouldn't be worth it

the Neko smiled nervously "are you looking for the dorms too?" she asked nervously as she walked on where the boy had directed, this was her first time going to an academy of any sorts, she was looking forward to learning new things away from home.

-Shaking his head he would sigh, putting the cork back in the bottle. He just couldn't understand his friend's opinion, *you only get to live once he thought, even if that is to long for some of us* he would think. Looking outside he would decide it was time to head to his next class.-
"Nathan, lets go before the onlookers fill the halls, yeah?"
-Opening the door he would step out, looking around. Raising an eybrow as he noticed the two First-year girls standing around, he would shake his head again. Leaning against a wall, he would wait for Nathan.-

Nathan would look through as much of the window he could, and agreed it was time to leave, he chugged the rest of his drink and set the mug down, looking at his friend as he walked out. He didn't understand him really, why would you want to consume literal poison and inhale something that would trouble your breathing for years.
Maybe it was just him but he supposed it was his life, he can do what he wishes with it. Nathan walked out of the lounge area, looking at his friend on the wall. "Ready then?" he asked.

Miyuki smiled "oh well the lounge is just there" she spoke tilting her head slightly, when she noticed the two walking out "o-oh h-hello again" she smiled and waved nervously these two... they didn't seem to like them very much... the tall one with the cigerate had especially seemed to act rather coldly in her presence, although... sh-she was new, it was probably just a-a misunderstanding, he probably thought nothing of her at all.
she looked back at them shaking her head trying to not worry about it too much as she'd often worry about silly things and asked "eh i-is it time to go?" she looked around for any source of refference to tell time, a clock would be nice, she thought if she could find one.
